Rebecca Portney M.A, LMFT #123131, RPT-S™ S-3595

Rebecca is a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in the state of California and is a Registered Play Therapist™ and Registered Play Therapy Supervisor™ through the Association for Play Therapy. Rebecca is bilingual in English and Spanish. After growing up in Santa Monica, she attended UC Davis to study Psychology and Studio Art. Rebecca spent several years working as a Registered Behavior Technician providing Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children on the Autism Spectrum before returning to school to complete her Masters in Couples and Family Therapy at Alliant University, San Diego. Rebecca has more than 10 years of experience working with children and families in school, home, community, and clinic settings. At her last position, in addition to her direct clinical work, Rebecca provided clinical supervision and mentorship to prelicensed therapists to further their professional development and help them obtain their licensure. Rebecca is a certified provider of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
